    Ever dealt with celebrities?

Is anyone familiar with the work of Alan Reeves, the film music composer? Looks like he's sort of famous.. made the soundtrack for Kill Bill 2 - perhaps someone here knows him? I'd like to know more about his reputation in composing, studio work, or as artist etc.

Obviously I've just sold him a Miller & Kreisel Volkswoofer system, and will have to send it down to the Côte d'Azur/France where he lives. He mentioned to be into collecting vintage loudspeakers also, knows it from "..Millers Audio store I think it was on Wilshire Blvd. initially in Beverly Hills and then in St. Monica." – and signed with Alan, under the account of his wife.

eBay is always good for surprises..

    Sort of.

I sold some gear to an Irish composer who did the orchestral arrangements for Boomtown Rats "I Don't Like Mondays" and The Pogues "Fairytale in New York" (listen to that song again and concentrate on the strings - it's wonderful)

He's called Fiachra Trench. The industry is full of unsung heroes. http://www.modelart.ie/events/FiachraTrench.html

No idea about Alan Reeves. That is correct about M&K. M&K was heavily into the then esoteric powered sub-woofers in the 70's & 80s. I've been to their store a few times. But I think the Miller was killed in a car wreck and the company started fade.

Boston ? I once gave Tom Scholz a ride from the Minneapolis airport to pickup his private plane which I was working on. He didnt talk much about the Band. This was long before Brad killed himself. I did get him to sign my copy of Third Stage.
