    288 Diaphragms and DC resistance.

What are the expected DC resistances of the various 288 diaphragms?

I have a pair of 288D's with 21531 (16 ohm) diaphragms that measure 8.1 ohms. That seems low for 16 ohm diaphragms?

A pair of 288C's with diaphragms that measure 12.1 ohms
A pair of 288-8K's that measure 5.8 ohms
A pair of 288C's with aftermarket 8 ohm diaphragms that measure 6 ohms.

I'm curious what the expected resistance of 24/20/16 and 8 ohm diaphragms would be?

    Thanks!

Don't have your answers but high frequency drivers will always have low DC resistance compared to impedance as reactance increases with frequency.
