I was little confused with the post, just saw the devastation on BBC news video link, that is a bad fire, hope there fire-fighters can extinguish it FAST! The national guard is being called in as well hay. Looks worse than an earthquake.

Todd, don’t hang around for the fire, get the hell out of there!

Good luck, Todd. Hope you're ok. The smoke all around here is pretty bad.

    Most importantly....keep safe.

Todd's probably been evacuated.....Santiago Canyon has mandatory evacuations put in effect.

We were under voluntary evacuation. We are out of harm's way..., for the moment.

Cars and speakers can be replaced. As long as you and your family get to safety unharmed, thats all that matters right now.

My prayers are with you, God Bless Everyone.

Most of all, just be safe.

Winds are down now and they are getting our local fire under control. I think we'll be OK.

I'm now housing three evacuees from the San Diego area who's home is now in jeapordy.

    Thank god, thats good news!

Taking in people who are less fortunate than you, that is really admirable. You have my total respect and best wishes.

I hope the worst is over, the Santa-Ana-Wind is slowing down and that you all can breathe freely again.

It’s thought that one of the fires has been started deliberately by arsonists one was shot dead by police the other captured.

Good on you mate you’re a real humanitarian to take in a few locals under great times of worry.

Is it possible for any forecast for some moderate rain permanently wash this fire away?
