    Hi freq driver swaping

I have two sets of L-166's with the 066 hi freq driver in them. All are working fine but i was wondering if there are any other JBL hi freq drivers that would work well in the L-166 and go in with not too much fabrication?

I have the L212s, which also have the 066. And I think I remember seeing that JBL sez that the 044 is a replacement for the 066,but sonicly they are different. And only change them in pairs.
But if there is nothing wrong with the 066s you have there is no reason to change them. And 066s are always showing up on ebay. In fact I've bought some that were in better condition than my original pair.
