s99/lancer99 -- need info

hi - new member here ... i just picked up a pair of JBL s99/Lancer99 speakers that have been in (good dry) storage since 1981... first, i was wondering why they have two model designations on the rear and second -- where can i find some technical specifications and/or pictures about them.... thanks if anyone can be of assistance...........RUSS.
