    Driver/crossover suggestions.

    Hi all
Looking to start a bit of a long range project.
I have a pair of Altec Stonehenge II's.

    http://www.lansingheritage.org/image...ome/page07.jpg

These were manufactured in the mid 70's and as far as I can determine replacement drivers are pretty much not available. The cabinets are in excellent condition.I'm thinking I would like to start looking for and collecting JBL components to eventually build new systems using the cabinets with modifications as required.

My initial thoughts are L100T components ie 2214H,104H-2,035Ti and N100T,or maybe 4311/12 components.Or even reface the cabinet and use 4425. I have very little experience in this area and thought this might be a good project for me to get my feet wet.

Any suggestions as to other components would be greatl appreciated.

    Thanks
    Joe

    I'd do L100t3 ratner than "T."

For two-way, a PT waveguide would go at the top in place of the mid and tweet, maybe. Dimensions are 12" x 6.5".

    Thanks.

So that would be 035TiA and NL100 t3.

    Yes a 12" by 6.5" would be do-able also.

    Hmm.

That's PT-F95HF shown, which just became available a couple of months ago.

    Recommended driver is 2452H-SL.

A couple of us have also used it with BMS 4555 successfully.
