Is it of any benefit to have passive impedance compensation when using active crossovers?

I think you need to be more specific in order to get an answer you can use. Zobel networks, for example, are useful, even with active crossovers. Also, I use passives in my cabinets for high frequency drivers, though my system are bi-amped.
Tell us how you see your system wired, and with which drivers, and we will respond to that.

I was thinking (and not typing) about a low pass in a subwoofer for the spike at resonance but maybe if I was to think about it in terms of protection it could be a good thing not to do that. The amp does not care (for the most part) and also there is no crossover (passive) to worry about. I no this is probably a stupid question and I am sorry for that.
