    Eon 1500

    Hi All,

who can tell me what speakers are built in the EON 1500 system?
    It's a two way passive stage speaker with a 15" woofer and a 1 1/2" mid/high driver and horn.

    thanks in advance......

"Built in" is genuinely the RIGHT word. The 15" woofer is PART OF the cabinet on these! If they need reconing, the ENTIRE cabinet needs to go in to the shop!

As for the HF driver... IIRC, these use the 2416 horn driver, on a horn flare built-in to the front baffle.

    Regards,
    Gordon.

Hold it, stop the presses... because I've SEEN, IN PERSON, an Eon 1500 that was built with the built-in drivers, and a 4216 horn driver.

Dunno if it is some crazy variant, or someone has been switching tags around, but that's what I very plainly saw...

    Regards,
    Gordon.
