    Aquaplasing with a turntable

Last weekend I visited Richard at his famous studio in Little Nigeria / London.
We had a very good time and I will probably post something at the forum announcements.

What I want to document here is a new method to coat diaphragms with aquaplas.
We tried to thin the aquaplas down to make it ready for spraying. No chance. We just couldn't bring it through the noozle.

So we invented the "circular coating" by using a good ole SL1210 turntable. YEAH! And it works.

The mysterious Dark Beryllium Blue is a secret color mixture done by Richard. The pics are taken during the drying process after the final (2nd coat).
Alltogether we coated six D8R2425 and two D8R2435

Did you still want me to send you the real deal or should it go to Richard? I just got the containers last week. Or maybe it was the week before.

    Yes, Giskard.

We need it. Please send it to Richard but the bill goes to me.
    And thank you!

What a great idea!!! It makes it much easier. I gave up on the spraying as well.

I recall the night we mixed in the blue.

The next day Rich was roaming London with blue fingers!

Does anybody remember if the antivibe needed to be thinned for use with a brush? What was used to thin it and what kind of dye should I get for making the stuff dark gray or black?
