    New DIY class A amp.

    I must show my new Class A amp. A friend of mine and i put it together today and it sounds amazing and with no hum and noice. I get 6 watt of it and itīs perfect to my drivers. Iīm going to make 5 mono amps to my new project K2/ array speakers.

    and what is the 5th amp for? Just curious

    The class A amp is only for the 2435hpl driver and for my Le14h-3 i have Crown K2.
    Itīs a Ht 5.1

    Then i understand.

    Btw. I also use a Crown K2 for my L65's It kicks butt.

    I think ill try to make one of thoose amps myself. What is that IC on the schematics?

    What is the power disipation of that amp? Have to check if i have a heatsink lying around...

    12 watt for a mono. I think i can use one of my 300x200x40 mm heatsink for 5 channel amp.

    Where in norway do you live tim ?

    317's are beautiful. If you overload them they shut down. If you overheat them they shut down. This allows them to be an over temp protector for anything on the same heatsink. They don't see the full voltage they regulate so they can regulate quite high voltage. The can be found for less than a $1.00. They are quite marvelous.

    Where did you get the Buz71? Cant find it on ELFA. You have an alternative Transistor?

    For a week ago i went to metal and electronic junkyard and i got a hole box of capacitors to my experiments for 3 dollars . I have tried to make them ready but i work to many hours right now.
