    Paragon Owner's Manual

A co-worker that used to work at Harman (during "purging" times, as he described it ) gave me a Paragon Owner's Manual. 12 pages plus cover and index, black 'n' white. Assembling, connecting, adjusting, component removal, care of the enclosure, that kind of thing. I did a couple quick searches, and didn't find this exact one. Is it worth scanning, or have I just missed where it's posted?

    It's not this one:

I would very much appriciate it. There is a good cross sectional view inside.
Once I have got a copy from Fritz Dahlke:

I'll post reasonable sized scans here, let me know if larger files should be e-mailed or uploaded somewhere for the library.

Thank you,Fred. These are gorgrous, easy to read and they have duplicated easily into my documents area.
My Dream: I wish my Dad was still alive to build these with me as he had such a love of woodworking and fine, fine music.
My Dream#2: That I could do them myself and come out with a very large and beautiful surprise my brother would never believe I had made them.
Dream#3 My mother understands that not all music is "acid-music" and that it will NOT make me drive around naked in cars hanging out of the windows "for all the world to see" I honestly have no idea where her Dream #3 ideas came from. I only remember she voiced them ALOT and that my Dad borrowed joints from me on many occasions in high school. He always told me "Not to tell your Mother"...like I would? But he never returned the favors. Well,I guess his silence was favor to me enough. Besides,he got me a 1970 suicide 4 door Thunderbird with a crocodile vinyl top and it was so dark,SOdark metallic green,it was almost black. Dual Exhaust and that 429(428?) Thunder Jet engine. If I just took off when the light changed,it squawked and laid a patch, even when I was going slow. That was when cars had real engines. AND they made noise. That beautiful rumble.

Thanks again for the beautifully printed manual Fred. I LOVE it.

Glad that it was of interest, didn't know if maybe it was commonly available somewhere.

Robin- thanks for sharing your dreams, glad to have helped inspire all of that.

Feel free to PM me with an e-mail address for the full-resolution pages, it's about a 6MB zip file, I'll do my best to reply if the demand isn't too high.

    Well, hey, thanks for that.

Offer still stands for sending higher resolution scans for inclusion in the library, just hit me with the details via PM.

    Thanks,

    Yeah, dood... Nicely done.

So far as I know, the sole person able to upload to the Library is Don, and he's been on other business. Maybe Widget or Rob can offer advice on what to do?

In the meanwhile, if you want to send me hi-res copies of the document, I'm happy to archive them.

pm me, if that is a course you wish to pursue...
