$17.95 is about what I would pay today too. I think the last couple of clocks I got free with a Time Magazine subscription. I did spend $28.27 for a watch about 5 years ago.

    todays find ..kinda audio :)

    .
disassembled and packed in saddlebags 20 pounds worth of tubular steel stands . Nearly 13 inches tall with an 8x9 inch platform. Can attach spikes. (already drilled & tapped)

their weight affected my steering. Will go up on CL or if someone here needs them , can be knocked down and shipped.

got to thinking 'bout dat ....

LR has a German Westminster chiming Grandfather clock (that I built) , the Mystery clock (silent) , a Chinese copy of an English mantle clock (striking) , the antique Japanese octagon clock (striking) , an English Camel Back mantle clock (striking) - (it was a retirement gift to a London PO worker in 1921).
BR1 has a Korean octagon schoolhouse clock (striking)
BR3 (aka man cave/HT) has Korean wall clock (striking)

about 8-10 more in boxes awaiting work ... many German 400 day anniversary domed clocks , another Westminster German wall clock, that AT&T VP's clock , a huge Intel VP's Howard Miller presentation clock , and...and...

if they'd all stay in synch , maybe I could duplicate DSOM ?

YMMV...but I'd encourage any 250Ti owner wanting to have spares in the house to find a nice pair of 120Ti while they are still cheap...

I think your post got somehow stored in my long term mem. Got 18Ti's and NOT really impressed with them , now just keep around for spare 044Ti's , but did find some 120Ti's also ... and they are in daily use. Very Nice 12 in. 3 ways

    it ain't audio , as

    .
everybody fights for audio flipperdom any more,,,,,,,,,,, but my second love is CLOCKS.

found this 16 pound solid oak chimer with lyre pendulum , gonna work out fine.
but them ran across this LP ... everybody was trying to trade me for it .. didn't know why ?

looked it up and got answer http://www.discogs.com/sell/release/2940083?ev=rb

ready to leave and ran across small box in the toy section.

bottom is in Chinese ..can anybody here read it ?
I THINK it is silver with embedded jadeite cabochon. since there are no English markings.
ASSUME it was made for local market and maybe a snuff box ..anybody know for sure ??

The PNY Turbo USB3 got some recommends , so I went looking for it (I read the rule is to get double the physical ram , I have 8GB) ....they are closing out those 16GB drives at BB for $8 (free shipping) , but my local Office Depot had 1 left in stock for $25.

Went over there with my BB printout, clerk says "Oh, we can't to that match ..OD would be losing money"

    ME: "Call the manager,plse"
Manager looks at printout, looks at drive, looks at paper again, looks at drive again ..
    "Yeah, we can do dat"

Peddled back home, tossed it in a USB3 port. Win7 says it can only use 4GB of it.
Back to the web. Gotta format it NTFS. Win7 won't format it, as it's in use .. can't get it out of use.

Fire up the old XP box ..sure, it will format it FAT32 ..done. Then back to Win7 box. Format it NTFS and now I have 17 GB ReadyBoost (15+2) ...faster & faster. Can put off a SSD for a while.
so I got a nice credit in the mail from Staples .. turns out my local store has closed. Thought about getting more/bigger USB drive for win7 ReadyBoost. Ended up checking OfficeDepot for price compariso on 32GB USB3 memory. They had a high speed one , normally $40 for 11. yippee. Printed out the web site ad and rode over. Well it was 23 in the store.
Showed them the sheet and they agreed to match their own ad ?
    Think I'm done upgrading the PC. 32GB - RB + the old 16GB - RB (both USB3) + 8 gb native for a virtual 56GB of RAM.

so hardly ever hear the HD spin up anymore and at 4.4GHZ it's a screaming setup

lots of interesting electronics in my bags today.

    also this album (among others)

Johnny Cash with His Hot and Blue Guitar is the debut album of rock and roll pioneer Johnny Cash, released on October 11, 1957. The album contained four of his hit singles: "I Walk the Line," "Cry! Cry! Cry!," "So Doggone Lonesome," and "Folsom Prison Blues."

This was the first LP ever issued on Sam Phillips' Sun Records label.

So, about $17 for the pair?
". . . as you have no doubt noticed, no one told the 4345 that it can't work correctly so it does anyway."—Greg Timbers
