sold the L86's last night...buyer came back today and grabbed 21 more pairs (JBL,Advent,AR,Infinity) ...all 21 prs. will be in Asia by Xmas ...buyer is off to reload wallet for another pallet. Think the 4410's , AR90's , Yammy's and 4671's may be on their final days here when buyer returns from Sandy Eggo.

the 4410's , P20's and some Advents & AR's just disappeared....return buyers were so happy that they brought a large carved jade horse over as an Xmas gift. 4 CRV loads of speakers gone to one couple. (on the way to SE Asia.) ...the offers on the Walsh F's get bigger with each meeting......

coming back tomorrow for the last CRV load (for now..... )

in the pic of the prior post , there are white post it note prices on each set , they ran around snatching the prices of the ones they wanted and brought them to me to add up ....only passed on 1 pair.

Pheew , that a relief...the L26's & P20's just walked , and once he figures how to ship the 4671's , they will go too. (and possibly the big Walsh's)

250Ti's only ?? (and the CL505) ....luckily I've got lots of JBL drivers.

With the departure of the L26's that were my PC's system, I was scrambling for something to hook to the PC's receiver....found some all SEAS L86 clones that are not bad.

So we packed up the 4th CRV load (4410/L26/others) last night (veh full again) ....

buyer calls back after we had gone to bed....excitedly he tells me that they are going for the Ohm Walsh F's . beryllium Yammys , Sony transmission lines and the JBL 4671's (whose new life will be in a Saigon dance club)

The AR90 towers are still in the mebbe column ..if sold then the AR-ps428 powered towers will be pressed back into HT duty (where they were for the last 10 years) and the big a/d/s towers will take the slots vacated by the Ohms...

the 250Ti's and my sons L100's are the only untouchables in the house.

the JBL/Ohm/Yam/Sony deal will push the total to more than half of the price of my 4x4 truck.

31-32 pairs gone ..cant remember exactly.

    my back hurts....

    best hooks ??

actually I dont have anything special ... grabbing at thrifts, garage sales and mostly trading with friends is how things come in...burned out on eBay and now sell only on CL.
I have a permanent demo setup, amp, stands, wiring so that I can sub in any set on short notice , the source is loaded with best tunes...like a real demo room.

    BUT...

I sell at reasonable prices , nobody bargains with me ....and I've got a good eye for what has value
(most of the time, not always)

    and ..(this is weird)

I seem to pick up groupies along the way (return buyers , to be nice abt it) ...the VNs with 30 some odd pair speakers ...on eBay, I had 1 buyer win OVER 3000 auctions that I put up ...yes, three thousand ..anything I wud list..he wud buy.
