    must be headphone week ?

grabbed these 2 pair today , both sound outstanding and need no repairs.
I had some K240's in the past and sold them for some unknown reason , really happy to have another pair.

also grabbed this Dremmel MultiPro with kit ($2) , a beautiful Kershaw knife (30 cents)* and these LP's,,, most in mint condition (except for LZ1 )

    Under $10 (including lunch)

    *$80 msrp

Oh yeah... a friend grabbed a box that said TA-3A .... Nak receiver , had the whole kit with remote ... looked unused ... $20.

    Don't play it
That picture disc sells for between $30 - $40 to $150 bucks depending on the day of the week, where you are, who you bump into and condition of course
Hate the Ramones but that's a nice record score to flip
    What'd it cost you?

You did well with that one then!
Your son have a record store?
I have a friend from New York who grew up with those guys, even stood in with them once on stage, he's a guitar player
He has pictures of a much younger him hanging out with them and he's super proud of them
He loved those guys, as each original member passed it was as if he had lost a family member
I just never could dig what they did
    You get some cool stuff

I'm a Hitchcock fan , but I know his films would not be the same without the Bernard Herrmann soundtracks. One of the DVD's I watched had extras devoted to just how important BH was to the films.

So happy today to get this 3 LP box set of BH's movie music. Was at first a little dismayed to see that it came from a High School library , but looked at the surfaces and realized that they'd never been played .... what self respecting 17 y.o. would spin this stuff

Although made by DECCA - London ..everything , including the booklet is in French including the great LA MORT AUX TROUSSES*

*What does the French phrase "La mort aux trousses" mean?

Summer in Oregon = rain ?

    .
yeah, well ..I stayed in today and did a safari in my own home. It was also DVD day.

I ran across a center that I'd bought some ..maybe ..5 years ago .... a Definitive Technology powered center w/sub . This thing is HUGE ... built-in 150 watt amp and 8 inch sub. $649 MSRP.

Hooked it up. It was GOOD. Now kicking myself for burying it for so long ..

seawolf97, you're a bicycle dude, please tell me who might have platform pedals suitable for an older Mary Poppins style bicycle
It is a very old German bicycle but has the French sizing on the pedal studs and crank threads: 14mm with 1.25 pitch
I repaired the platform on the bad one today but the bike really needs a new set
I am searching the on-line sellers now, let me know if you have a suggestion please
More than a few on Amazon that say they're 14mm but the sellers don't provide pitch
    Thanks
