    JBL reconers in the midwest?

I have noticed that the listed authorized JBL reconers are in California. Being located in Missouri, was wondering if any reconers were in this area who use JBL authentic parts AND do a superior job? Thanks, I am fairly new to JBL...have been an Altec man for years, I know who and where for Altec.

    Thanks in advance,

    Russellc

Bingo! this helps a lot! One is only a few mins drive!

PS I just called them, they have the parts and can do the job in 2 days! now I just need a tip on the DIY thread for a system with my soon to be 2235H (or 2225H), 2123H mids and 2425H highs, and I am ready to do a "backyard" box building project...any ideas appreciated!)

Umm, I've never dealt with any of these but I did look at a pair of JBLs that had be re-surrounded by Winston's and they put the surround on the front of the cone. When contacted they swore this was the correct practice as authorized by JBL. Just a warning in case you're really looking to re-surround the 15s and not re-cone. You might read the thread here.

I called Slice Speakers in North Kansas City, they are located next to a casino, and only about 15 mins from my office. They can do the job, and their proximity cant be beat, in terms of both closeness and nearby entertainment.
