Smile Amplifier for 2435hpl drivers ?

I´m going to change my cinema/stereo setup in summer when my stuff arrives. Today i have 2405h/2382A+2446h/2226h/2245 and i feed my 2405h+2446h with a 5 channel Hypex ucd 180 Diy amp.
In the future i´m going to have 2435hpl with H9800 horns+ Le14h-3 and the 5 Le14h-3 are going to be driven of my 3 Crown K2 amps.

Now to the question. I´m satisfied with my Hypex ucd 180 amp but i think i can get more of a better amp. How about a Crown D45 or a small Diy aleph to the 2435hpl drivers ?
I need 5 channels and i´m not made of money.

An Aleph will kick hypex's butt any day.

    IMO UCD aint that good.

I have built an Aleph 1.2 and the mid/highs is awesome. But it cant controll a large woofer.

    Best regards Tim

You want need much power but the 1st Watt is so important with this approach.

The amp will need to be really quiet. I would use a nice CRCRC filter in the power supply of the Aleph 3. Even the diy mini Aleph is a good option. There are also some nice Jfet diy Alephs over at diy audio which are inherantly quieter because of the Jfet/smaller mosfet front end. otherwise the design is very similar. A beautiful amp.

Just make sure you have adequate protection capactor in series with the driver.

Will the First Watt projects be good for this application? They are made for high sensitivity speakers.

    Best regards Tim
