That said - Chatrooms are more "conversational" - what is said in chatrooms is generally spontaneous and not necessarily "on topic" for a topic-specific (Lansing Heritage) site like this.
That said - have you asked for access to the "Off-Topic" thread and seen if that suits your interests? I think you just have to ask a moderator (Like Robbh) for access ...
