    LE5-12 v. LE5-8 Matrix Questions

After reviewing the matrix, I noted that the matrix parameters were the same for the two models. Also, following the matrix, the even number models are included together in the thread title that has the scanned image of the Engineering Standard. However, the Engineering Standard only references the LE5-10 and 12. I did not see a separate ES for the LE5-8. Can anyone confirm the similarities/differences between these two models? Thanks

    LE5-8 vs. LE5-12

Having them both, in L166s and 4312s, I don't hear a difference in the mids. Take a look at this L166 tech sheet snippet – since JBL refers to them as exact acoustic and visual replacement, I'd say its an issue only if 100% originality of a stock driver assembly is the goal.

Thanks Fangio, I appreciate your reply. Looks like a viable option
