Electro~Voice Georgian? Or? Can anyone identify this monster?

It is built like a tank and almost as heavy. Loaded with a EV 15WK woofer,848 Mid horn and a cute little T35 horn tweet.

It is a huge corner cabinet.

I don't know about the driver arrangement, I've never experienced one, but I'm pretty sure that's a Georgian cabinet. Too bad they're hardly ever found in pairs.

THANKS! That seems to be the consensus. I believe it is a Electro Voice Georgian 400 due to the story from the person I bought it from.

Now to figure out what to do with it.

You seem to find all the good stuff out there.

    Congrats!

    How much did you pay?

    -Storm.

$425 for both speakers and a beat Thorens 125 with MOST of a SME arm on board. The Altec gear is pulled and up for sale already.

I will be quessing here, but if access to the 15WK is via the side, it is a 400.

I have the KD2 Series Georgian that is modeled on the Partician, access to the bass bin hatch on the front.

Along with other modifications, the only thing Klipsh about them is the bass bin design.

    Good listening.

It is accesed thru the side and the dates would make it a 400 I believe.

A good friend of mine is a Thorens repair shop, let me know if you want info.

Good luck with the big, beefy speakers.
