    4344

Anyone have any information on them?? I grabed some photo's off a Japanese site but there is nothing on the JBL Pro Site or in our Library. Any brochures out there?? They seem like the mystery monitor. Are they rare??

    Thanks Rob

I got this and you probably have seen this drawing,

I'll mail you the book its in to you, a whole chapter written by John Eargle on the engineering of monitors.

Actually I will scan some of of it for Don to consider putting in the Library. The 4344 is the same physical box.

    Hey, Rob...

I've got the 4344MkII owners manual, but regrettably there are no pictures - guess JBL assumed you could LOOK at them...

Anyway, the .pdf is too large to post (289 kbytes) - if anyone's interested pm me with your email address.

The 4344 is the 2235H based version of the 4345.

    2235H, 2122H, 2421B/2307/2308, 2405, 3144 with the 2421B replaced by the 2425J in later production runs.

Is the ME150H identical to the 2235H?

Maybe we need to discern between
    4344 see Giskards pictures
and the 4344MkII see Bo's Specs

    4344s anyone?

Does anyone here in this JBL Forum actually own a pair of 4344s? I think I know of a pair of 4344 MkIIs here, but how about 4344s?
If so, please come forward! Seriously, tell us your assessment of these ...especially compared to some other JBLs we might know.
    Thanks,

    Tom
