Hi all,
A simple question to those who know, can I remove the diaphragm from an 033 without wrecking it?
Thanks, Allan.

Might be some help (or hope) here, but not much:

If you know what your doing, sure.
Thanks Guys,
I have Re-diaphragmed many JBL drivers over the years but these ones not seem to want to come of the magnet assembly. I dont want to pull on them too hard because the lead wires might break. Idea's please.
Thanks, Allan.
Over years, the dia seems to become adhered to the magnet assembly.
I very carefully slide a sharp blade around the outside of the diaphram, separating it slowly from the mag. Then, it will come loose.
Patience is the key.
Make sure to blow out any ferrous dust out of the gap, then sweep the gap with masking tape. Make sure there are NO foreign magnetic fragments in the gap!
Install new diaphram in the reverse. Tighten the little allen head screws, gently. Again, Patience is the key.
Re-install in your favorite pair of JBL L110's and fill the house with glorius music!!!
Keep it simple.
Scott.

Thanks Scott,
Your are right, the diaphragms were stuck to tha magnet. They cam off easy. I needed to get them of so I could push the domes out. They will be going into a set of L150 clones. I am also building a pair of L150A's. Fun fun fun.
Thanks again, Allan.
I'ved used a vacuum cleaner to suck the domes out. Seems to work fairly well. I have also used duct tape. Gently pressing the tape to the dome and pulling the tape outward.
