Is the 2402H a re-packaged 075? Did JBL 'learn' anything along the way and apply it to the 2402H? Do they sound the same?
Thanks,
JBLOG

yes and no.... kinda
AFAIK the 2402H has the ferrite motor, whereas the 2402/075 are both Alnico
....all you wanted to know about the "ring radiators"
http://www.audioheritage.org/vbullet...or+comparisons
a search for "ring radiator" "075" "2402" or "2402H" will turn up many hits
here are the spec sheets for the
2402H

075

Thanks for the links.
Do the 2402 sound...better/different? ..or was this a bit of creative marketing?
do a search on Alnico vs. ferrite....
I can't type as fast as you can read, and it's nice to hear what others say.....
besides, i haven't any experience with a single model driver where the only change was alnico to ferrite...
sorry!
They are the same drivers just ferrite and alnico. I like the alnico's because their size make them easier to work with.

Hello You 'll make a good choice with the 075 alnico magnet, the sound is more clear compared to the 2402h which have less efficiency and highs less clear. take the 075 alnico not the 2402h
Sincerly
