Leak tube stereo gear. Any opinions?

I am thinking of going after this. I have never heard Leak gear but would like to try it on my Paragon. Any opinions?

    Looks nice

Don't think it will go to cheap though!

I will be curious of the final price.

I had the matching Leak MONO tuner , eBayed it for not even a small percentage of what he wants.

The pre says "stereo" on it, unsure about the amp , but they didnt have broadcast stereo at that time.

well everyone has an opinion on the price, but not the gear..

I owned a Leak Stereo 20 which is a 10 watt PP el84 based amp. It had been totally rebuilt by someone who knew what they were doing.. did a really fine job of it. I changed out the coupling caps to Hovlands. I used this amp with my S/3100 and thought it sounded quite fine. The high end was especially nice with a really sweet sound although somewhat rolled off. The mids were a little recessed though and there was no earth shattering bass but all in all a nice little amp.... would probably sound real good on a vintage system like the paragon.. I can't speak for the model you are looking at though although it may have some of the same qualities.

    Good luck

    Bernard

BTW... I think that is a STEREO amp, no ?

Thanks to all. Too many questions at that price so I am going to hold off for now.
