Wow! - JBL L20T's kick major butt!

Just picked up a pair of L20T's local for $60.00.

Hooked them up and I am amazed. For such a small speaker, they sure do kick butt!

Any others have experience with these puppies?

They are nice, but the Altecs are a smidge better.

I use them for rear surrounds - I think they are great - very nice looking speakers and the sound is quite good.
They don't go down REAL low - but thats ok - heck, run them with a nice sub and thats all you need!

Course they aren't 4341 Monitors ... but they were only 5% of the cost of the big Monitors

They are definately sleepers. I have a couple of pairs and use one as my rears as well. Damn good bang for the buck.

    Long gone....

What I found interesting about the shootouts is that 43xx owners preferred 43xx, and 44xx owners preferred 44xx, even "blind."

    Acquired tastes, apparently.... :dont-know

hmmm. as a 4410 & 4412 owner, its refreshing to hear a clinical rendition of the music sometimes (well the 4410, at least) , have never seen anyone call them colored or peaky and that 035ti will blast out the highs if you really care to set it that way.

wasn't one of the 43xx's just a re badged L100 ? ( or vis versa)

Yes, but that certainly doesn't characterize the entire series.
