    Pb12

I have seen messages elseware that this unit may have problems and JBL does not seems to do anything about it.

Mine will randomly start to buzz when I am not using it. The power lights still show red meaning it is not 'on'.

    Any ideas?

JBL released a service bulletin for the PSW-D series. I think that your sub is the same inside. The problem was that loose solder joints could cause oscillation, apparently it sounds like "motorboating".
The cure was to resolder the connections to the amplifier module. Send me a PM with a real email address and I can forward a copy of the bulletin. Make sure that your email can accept a 3.2 MB file.
