Which woofer baskets and magnets are the same as the E-145 basket? I recently aquired two recone kits for the E-145 and am looking for the baskets. Can anyone help with this info?
Thanks

E-145 baskets. I'm fairly sure that's it. Happy to be corrected tho'
The cone interchangeability subject has been covered a number of times over the years in this forum but the E145 is a stand-alone kit. no subs anywhere...

I THINK I may have a pair of the outer flange rings, that somebody long ago, removed from a pair of K145 baskets. That, with a K140 or E140 basket (AFAIK- somebody please correct me if I remember wrong!), should be able to work fine with the 145 kits...
If ya want 'em, PM me, and we'll haggle over the (probably pretty low) price.

Gordon.
No, they won't work ( even with that extension ring ) because ;Originally Posted by GordonW

Because of the differences in the frames, the K145 kit will *not* work in the E frame and vise versa. This issue is the same with the 18" K151 / E151
Keep your eyes out for real E145 frames ( or the consumer version - everest ) if you want to use them.
Another big problem was the surround hitting the inside of the frame on long excursions - that inside edge should be chamfered.

That's what I was afraid of.
Hey- how about the 2215/LE15 basket, instead, with the K145 ring? Don't LE15/2215s have the 13mm (about .6 inch) top plate? I think the 2215 also has the 7/8" thick magnet?
Just trying to present possible options, that might allow SOMETHING to be done with his stuff...

Gordon.
