    Hi JBL L212 info

Hi guys I find a pair of JBL L212 in good condition refoamed and the guy wants to sell them for 1500$ .
What do you think ? My opinion is that's little expensive and I do not know what to do, but also I guess it will work great with my L220's.
Who can tell me an aditional price of an L212?
    many thanks
    bye

Is it the full set of three cabinets (there is a powered bass subwoofer cube) - or just the Left and Right cabinets?

I guess that wouldn't be a bad price if they were restored inside and out. If not I wouldn't consider them for that kind of money. Not even half.

    yes

It's the full set and the guy just told me the price is with shipping included...and that's another story, I live in Romania so shipping must be expensive.I just do not know if they will work fine along with my L220,
What do you think , is worth the cost or not?
    thanks

    What's the plan

    Hi Alex,

The L212's were intended to be used as a complete set. Why would you want to use them with the L220's? (Unless as rear channels in a surround system?) Besides I thought you were looking at getting a B460 to use with the L220's. The B460 (with a quality amplifier of course) will be far better than the bass module of the L212 system, and would complement the L220's more appropriately.

    I wish for a B460

Hi Peter! Yes you are right I really wanted a B460 but I couldn't find one so I tought the B212 would do the work , and concerning the 212 speakers I will use them for home cinema surround.
Anyway if the guy does not negociate the price I won't buy them.

I really have a dilema here with my L220 , they do not have original surround foams , on the active driver I have 2 pieces sticked togeder , the same to the passive radiator but the problem is the passive radiator has a very hard thick suspension and I guess that has a big influence to the bass.I already ordered the original suspension and I hope after I finish I will be satisfied of the bass. I don't want to belive that L220 have failiure to the bass sound.
That's why I wanted to buy a system that has a subwoofer.
    take care
