    Yes, I remember it well!!!!! But if you do a second look they crush a 55 2 door wagon with eyebrows, fender, and door chrome. It is so qwik it is hard to see it. Still sad though because lots of people are restoring 2 door wagons because they can't afford a Nomad.

    As a kid, a '55 Nomad was the first car I ever recall noticing was cool. Before that, cars were just cars. Ever since, a Nomad is one of the few cars I'd really like to own...

    The only other 2 door station wagon produced was the Pontiac Safari. Pontiac could never get if figured out. The best thing about the Safari 2 door wagon that we Nomad lovers liked was all the rear glass was interchangeable, even the lift gate. So the sliders, lift gates, and the quarter glass was taken from lots of those vehicles and placed into Nomads. (also cargo area parts) Not too many fans of the Safari out there.

    Well, this thread has morphed from Paragons to Nomads (my fault) but
    one interesting observation should be made;

    neither is cutting edge technology by today's standards, more historical artifacts than anything yet both hold an important place in modern culture and command commensurate prices....and damn nice to look at!

    It might have morphed in the direction of Nomads, but it's all still about keeping the classics alive and kicking. Nice work on both projects.

    The thing is if you lift the hood on that nomad it probably doesn't have a stock 265 in it. For sure it isn't wearing a factory paint job. So, why should the Paragon have 154-c s in it? Though today, with so many subs available, it may once again be a good combination.
