    Crossover and driver question

    Hey guys,
Anyone have an opinion about using an N2400 to crossover to a Dukane 5A350, which appears identical to an LE175, which I believe is the same as a 2410? It's actually going into a keyboard amp, a TOA KD-2. Previously this thing only had a piezo, and I need more top end. But I'm concerned I'll be missing some midrange.
Also, I have a pair of working, but badly tarnished 075's. I've tried
every kind of cleaner I can find, but obviously not the right one.
    Any advice is appreciated.

    To polish:

Stick the bullet part into a cordless drill - grip it in one hand while sandwitching a scotch refinishing pad ( the green colored one ) around the part. Run at a slow speed and use a cleaning agent like 409..

    like new...

You can do the same for the horn part but you have to make a jig.

    Thanks for the reply.
If I remember, that bullet section simply unscrews to remove. You feel it can be done without harming the diaphragm? I'd rather not disassemble the entire units, as they still have the JBL wax over the screws.

You can take out just the bullet part without damaging the diaphram. Just remove the foilcal with a REAL thin puttyknife and remove the brass slotted bolt.

The wax seals just ensure a seller can sell a damaged diaphram without retribution... If you want to polish it, you gotta bite the bullet ( no pun intended )

While the bullet's out you can then visually inspect + let the accumulated dust fall out.
