    White-painted C38 Baron enclosures IF they're JBL boxes, which they appear to be. The load is the 030 system.

    They should sound great if you don't care about deep bass. They'd be better in a bigger box but the C38 works fine. They don't need much power at all, but they respond well to 200wpc if you have it. Playing the 075 loud with distorted low-power amplification will fry an expensive component.

    Where'd you find them?

    You gonna strip 'em and flip 'em?

    Or strip them (literally remove the white paint) and keep 'em?

    Looks like you helped them "come out of the closet"!

    From the 1950s or 1960s, not original outside (painted) but original otherwise. BIG squareish old JBL speakers. 17 x 20 x 24 outside dimensions. Best offer.

    i'm not really sure yet what i'm gonna do with them. if i could afford some tube stuff i think these would be great for that but ain't happening anytime soon lol. unless somebody makes me a crazy offer i think i'll hold on to them for awhile. srip them down and see what's underneath the paint. they were painted to cover water marks so who knows whats under the paint.

    ok stupid question=which terminal is positive on these?

    On the back of the Crossover above IN see B=Black and R = Red
    As long as you wire them both the same and nothing else is connected in the room at the same time ...
    Black = - Negative
    Red = + Positive

    Pretty obvious they were painted to fit a decor. The original finish was likely a lacquer/shellac, not bare oiled wood like newer stuff. If they covered it in latex paint you might get lucky and just peel it off.
