    I'll save him some time:

    1. Widened D130F gap by shaving the pole piece slightly.

    2. Added JBL "goop" to the D130F surround. (Same crap we used on the D123.)

    3. I don't know what the hell Duane Eddy used for speakers.

Hell, I'm just glad I'm still around to be writing them.

    Hey Harvey,
I have a pair of the D130F's. I noticed what look like a few small "hairline" cracks at the outermost edges of the cones. They are small enough to be invisible to the naked eye, but with a bright light and magnifying glasses I found them.
Where can I get some of the JBL "Goop" you mentioned, and would coating the outside edge of the cones be a good idea?

    Thanks in advance,
    Rick

It might be a good idea to add some more "goop". Others here know what the stuff is called and where you can get it. I wanna say "Airflex" but I'm not sure that's the right name. It's a very high viscosity oil, I believe.

    Hey Harvey,
I am once again looking for a source of the original "Goop" you used and I found this old post wherein you answered my question.
Sorry I never thanked you, I didn't see it.

    THANKS!

    Peace,
    DrRick
