    is this normal

    Hola amigos ,ok this is the deal every time i listen to the doors greatest hots cd number two my left tweeter acts up it almost sounds blown crackling sound im going to pull the tweeter out tommorrow and take it to my friends and doesnt do this on any other songs by the way the song is light my fire ill change wires and see if it jumps to the other speaker then ill know for sure it is the recording

    well i got lucky i switch the wire and it went the same way to the other speaker thank god well thanks

    Maybe yes, maybe no...

    It may mean the problem is in your preamp stage. Do you have a different amplifier to try?

    i will connect the fisher 400 and try it it seems to be the most dependable gear i have

    same thing happened to me with my L-166's tweeter the model 066 it only happened on one beastie boys song so i lived with it for a while but recently fixed it through a little tinkering
