I am unfamiliar with that part number.
I have 1400PRO ( Nd mag, ribbed surround ) and Nd1400 and Nd1401 which are the foam edged versions along with 2217H ( ferrite mag, ribbed surround ).
And also some consumer LE14A and LE14H-1
Maybe this is a ferrite mag, new frame version with foam surround that is in one of the japanese models??

That certainly looks like an LE14H-3 frame, and an Aquaplas'd cone. The foam surrounds tell me you're good to go with those, most probably. Measuring with Woofer Tester 2 would get you the T/S parameters, but just determining the Fs alone with a signal generator, resistor, and multimeter would be useful.
What is written under the cone ? C8R le1400 ?
It's home (or studio ) version of 2217H ?
I donīt know , i have to ask the seller about that.

- That's a ME150H magnetic assembly grafted onto a 2217H basket . Buy em!
- They'll be a higher resolution woofer than a le14H-3 .
- They'll also have the compromises inherent of the deeper gapped type drivers .
- Put them into 3.5 cu ft boxes tuned to 32 hz / as a start .
hello. the only info I found http://www.diysubwoofers.org/talksho...ages/17116.htm
I have A pair of L250. but the woofers are missing, maybe I have a better chance getting my hand on some le1400h It is hard as hell to get a pair of le14h-1 or le14h-3 . thanks for the info on Le1400h more info http://www.jblpro.com/pages/tour/array.htm

That is not an LE14H-1 or -3. here is a side view of a LE14H-1 for future reference.

The casting looks the same as an LE14H-3.
T-Dome,
So the LE14H-3 has the extra bracing cast into it also? I was under the impression the basket was the same toooooooooo? Thank you for the correction.

I spoke with jbl parts and the le1400 goes for a little over 700.00 each, ouch!
