Dear lord Ian those JBL are partially parked on top of or near the CRT, how did you overcome difficulties with the (colour strain) that’s if any occurred.

By the way nice set-up I’ll have to peek though this thread never seen it before? And I’m a natural voyeur when it comes to a good JBL peek show, especially around the holiday times.

Oh my, that is a lot of customized cabs you’ve made there looks like you’re getting ready to play Terminator 3 with that awesome JBL artillery!

x16 JBL SUB 1500 The Empire Leicester square in London uses x16 JBL 4645C with just 20KW driving the sub bass channel or LFE.1.

LOL, Man, you’re crazy the roof tiles will fall off you’re house!

I like the assorted costume made DIY JBL you’ve done there very nice indeed. The horn HF, look very nice and large.

there is at least 1 err in the vid..."Hafler CD" is really Carver CD.

THAT IS A DANGEROUS QUESTION TO ANSWER ON THE jbl FORUM. The L-166's are very nice and for many many years I would have been overjoyed to have them for my mains.

BUT,,,the walsh F's are a different animal...I'm not really able to describe them to someone who cant hear them. there was a huge price difference between them and the JBL's...$4k vs $1k ?

    L100 vs 4345 ??

    Cool

    Hi,

My first step in the JBL world

I've received a 4645c sub and a Crown Xti2000 two weeks ago to replace a Velodyne DD15. This DD was my second one but i got too many problems with it after 18 months of use : amplifier changed twice, woofer changed ...

So i decided to find a new sub, at least as good as the DD15 but more reliable. After testing the SVS PB13 ultra (thanks to Lsound for the 45 days money-back guarantee ), the JBL is the winner

    My configuration :
    - Focal utopia Micro Be (x3), surround 907Be
    - Chord SMP2000B
    - Tag Mc Laren BP192
    - 3DLab Dvd master as drive.

    S.

    Interesting, thanks!

It'd take me a month to document either my living room or studio system in that way, and I'd still forget connections.

    Got a 7.1 with:

    Front -- JBL S412s
    Center -- Infinity Beta C360
    Sub -- JBL 2241
    Side -- JBL S38s
    Rear -- JBL S36AWs

    Receiver -- HK7300
    Sub Amp -- Hypex HS500
    Player -- Sony/Modwright NS999ES
    Processor -- Velodyne SMS-1
    Lots of room treatment

Speakerdog -- That's a lot of electronics you got there. It's good to see another set of S412s out there. How are they doing for you.
