    GODDAMN IT!!!

Beer and HiFi......I cant think of a better combo

    My main system is:

    2 Mac MC75s
    Mac MX110
    Thorens TD125 Mrk II
1958 JBL Olympus (S7 load) Original and unmolested
This system is almost perfect for vintage mid 60s Garage and psych.

    My second system is:

    Marrantz 2245
    1957 JBL Ranger Paragon
Under utilized I know. I will be running this with a couple of MC 30s and a C20 very soon.

    My bedroom system is:

    Mac 1700
    JBL 2500s
Its just for "Background" music but I would love to upgrade the speakers.

Everything has CD and cassette which are mainly Onkyo,Sony, and Kenwod

Speaking of... I'm sick of all the records, tapes, and CD's. I want everything in SAN storage and have it voice activated with some woman's silky smooth alto voice answering.

"Computer darling? Please put on Dark Side of the Moon and pipe it through the ol' 4345's."

"Yes love. My pleasure. Dark Side of the Moon on the 4345's coming right up. Let me know how loud you wish it to be."

Remember the AT&T ad campaign from the late 80's early 90's?

Only instead of coming from the inventors of the transistor it will be coming with a slight accent.

    Wish you were here...

Now that takes me back. I believe I sold my copy several decades ago... I guess I should have kept it.

Might have to trek over to Amoeba Records... I bet I can snag a copy on clean vinyl.

Unfortunately, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, and a handful of others that escape me at the moment have been played to death... when they pop up on the radio, blam I hit the selector. Even though I like the stuff, I just can't listen to a song ten thousand times...

Wish You Were Here though... it has been quite awhile. I bet I could go there for a brief visit... might even power up the Marantz and L100s!

What about Pink Floyd's Meddle? That has always been one of my favorites from them.

YAH !! absoluetely ! I really get sent on a trip listening to Echos, especially !! The first time I ever heard that tune was played between sets at a Heart concert in the 70's and man, I wondered what it was and where could I get it !
