I actually sleeved everyone in and outside with good protective covers, my wife thought I was crazy then and now nothing but praise for doing so.

I will post some pics soon. I gave my camera to my daughter who has a new baby to take pics of and lives in another state. I have not bought a new one yet. Too busy spending money on stereo gear. I got everything off ebay except for the JBL e 100's, Technics tt, the Denon system, and the Pioneer cd player. I've been on a tear trying to make up for 30 years of wanting the gear but something always came up that was more important. Oh, almost forgot, the Gemini was given to me by a guy at work. It spent it's entire life in a bar which he used to own hooked to a system with huge Altecs providing the sounds.

If ya noticed my post, you'd know we're kinda in the same boat
But I only had about 160 or so vinyls- 1321 ?!? wow !

But my 3 kids in college are in the process of graduating between now and the next 6 months, and that'll sure loosen up a buck or two for me to get back into expanding my systems... maybe trade or replace one pair of my sonofagun updated L100a sets for a small proline system like a 4315 or something different .. 4425 ? I dunno.... just thinking out loud.

I really like all the high tech stuff but for me I think simple and effective works well and I am very happy with what I have. It really amazes people when they come over and I spin vinyl and it sounds so good, they seem to relax and are just taken in by the sound.

After reading about the equipment some of you have, I don't even know if my meger collection qualifies as "Hi-Fi", but here it is anyway:

    Living Room

    Marantz 4430 Reciver
    Atec Santana II's

    Home Office

    Marantz 2220B
    Electro Voice 12-2's
    Yamaha CDC-96

    Baby's Room

    Marantz 2215B
    JBL J320A's

    Garage

    Marantz 26
    JBL 2600's

    Storage

    Pioneer
    CS-63 DX's
    Harmon-Kardon tube amp
    Yamaha T-1
    Akai Reel to Reel
    Pioneer SR-202
    Realistc tube tuner
Not sure of the model #'s of some of the stuff in storage, and its too late to start digging through the closet to find out. I used too have a pretty decent system, but my ex-wife got it. My present wife is pretty understanding about this stuff, since I buy 99% of it at garage sale's. I am working on a budget. Maybe some day I can own some of the equipment you guys have. Untill then, I have to make do with this stuff. Alltogether I have less than $600.00 in it.

my system is not as cool as all you gear but it does the job

    technics sl-q3 turntable

    poineer vsa-700 amp 100w

needs a preamp but i dont really use the tone and bass controlls anyway

proton cd player (not used much anymore)

and of course the creative audiology sound card

k-120 drivers in jvc sk-1000 cabs with elcheapo little horns that sound great (vintage horns gotem on ebay)
and the original 80w jvc mid
i think these boxes were jvc attempt to answer jbl in the 70`s

modding a set of larger cabs i got me hands on for extra bass!!!! thanks guys

p.s this is the most impresive list of equiptment ive seen any where i`d luv to travell the world meet everybody and listen to your systems

    Talking hifi system

I am sure i am one of the people here with some of the least amount of impressive gear, but im happy for now or at least until i can afford the next piece, I am using a pair of L100ts for mains L80t3s for side surrounds L112s for front and rear center channels.a 2242h for a sub, a pair of mission 781 series bookshelfs for bedroom speakers, driven by a Altec 9440A amp and sony da5es receiver. dvd player, tv, and assorted other audio video items complete the package

    Thumbs up 'Ts

Those 'Ts and 'T3s are nothing to sneer at. You're doing all right, my man. A TI lover like myself would be very happy surrounded by their magical sound.
    Out.

Sears AM/FM with record player and cassette deck my mom bought for my 14th birthday. I replaced the crappy speakers with a pair of JBL LE8T's in boxes I built in woodshop class (Don't tell my mom I thought the speakers she bought me were crappy. I didn't really know they were crappy until I heard JBL speakers).

    It kicks ass!
