need tweeters working or not condition doesnt matter

im looking for some 2405 or other tweeter that might work for my jbl l200b system oh and so n7000 crossovers i think i might have the model number wrong on the crossover

Ebay there are 2405's up almost every day. As for the crossovers I would look at the schematics. You may be able to make a pair.

Glad to hear you're going to work on the 200's. Should be worth it, big time. Ebay is the best place to find the speakers.

I agree with Rob on the X-O's, however be aware that the crossover on the L300's was 8500 ( or at least I think it was)

maybe one of guys here would be able to work up a schematic for you.

You will not believe how much better they´ll sound with 2405/077´s

Have patience, and You´ll be able to pick some up, 3106 x-overs are also OK.

Making Yr own copies, even with the schematics will be difficult, the chokes are iron-air core.

Vintage-wise (And they are REAL vintage) I wouldn´t do anything to the carpentry, and mount the tweeters on top, the x-overs outside, which opens the opportunity for 2404´s which are cheaper on ebay.

If You get the tweeters and have to wait for the xovers, use (pls don´t kill me, purists) a non polar 1 micro Farad capacitor, 100V.

This might be of help. The 1.0 uF, 0.16 mH, and 5 ohm circuit in the N200B provides a bump around 13 kHz. You'll want to remove that when you add the 077/2405. You can reuse the 1.0 uF and the 0.16 mH for the high pass on the 077/2405 if you want. I'd personally be inclined to start from scratch and keep the stock N200B networks you have stock. Additionally, you may want to see if the HL92/2312 horn will fit in your enclosure. You can find the increase in length of that horn in the library on this site.

I came across a pair of very affordable L200s recently and almost bought them with the thought of supersizing them. Unfortunately the actual internal depth of the cabinet is quite shallow. The HL92 will not fit.
