Description For sale is a truly astounding audio creation! This was Dave Manleys visionary mission. To create the ultimate vacuum tube preamplifier and equalizer to bring the listener into an unprecedented state of audio nirvana. He named this the Ultimate Preamplifier - Ultimate Equalizer. It not only is considered one of the most coveted VTL pieces it is an amazing tool in the context of professional mixing and mastering for recording. This was ordered directly from VTL and made to order. It has been lovingly cared for, in fact, stored for most of its life. The physical condition is amazing too. For those who know how good his amps are it is the crowning piece to add to your system. The front panel adjustments are unique in their layout and I know of no other pre that has the features this offers. Total separation of l&r with phase inverting , individual mute switching, and pre and post signal input monitoring. Equalization flexibility unmatched to augment or deemphasize critical ranges of sound. Ergo, ultimate control and flexibility to each speaker used. How does it sound? Like an aphrodesiac. Nuff said. I paid over $4000.00 to own it and will probably regret its absence but sheer lack of space due to a recent move forces me to let some of my prized possesions go. I am asking $1500.00 or close. I may consider a partial trade so what have you? I will try to answer all emails until this has been sold and if you include a phone # I will call. I am trying to find the box and manual as they were with me up until the move. I hope the pictures do justice too. Last, I cant ever recall seeing this VTL up for sale as mine is serial no 125 and I dont think many more, or any more were ever made. Thanks for reading my ad. Good Luck! Peace, Bob
