OK, Lai has heard middle period Santana but I hope he hears the heavier stuff. He has the technique down but not the Santana fire. His own style(s) is plenty mature.

I recall this wonderful Dolby type SR trailer being used on Dolby SR prints at my days working as projectionist for UCI.

Henry Mancini Dolby Surround Fantastique The Dolby Fanfare Trailer

But this audience in this video really likes it with a standing applause!

Dolby SR is still the best analogue sound you could possible hear in well equipped cinema with low background noise level.

This isn’t a bad attempt of placing the CD album next to the video image that is by the way an illegal source that is all over the sad internet. The film is in monaural soundtrack its also cropped badly on the sides and top/bottom of the 2.35:1 scope frame.

Here its just CD music with just a bit out of sync with image since the image lags poorly on those sad illegal sites.

Star Trek: Kelvin Attacked/Main Title (Expanded Fan-Made Isolated Score) (stereo)
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otNLw-ROQKo

This one is really ultimately piss poor quality as it has the monaural illegal soundtrack source as well as video image. There are a load of trolls on youtube posting links to these illegal sites and why would you even being to watch such ghastly image and poor sound that is ten times worse than The Jazz Singer (1927).

Prologue - Star Trek 2009 opening scene rescored (stereo score only)

You decide which is the best one thou personally there both crap!

Only 3 months till go now for the region 2 DVD release.

    For Rock Fans

This young singer continues to amaze me. I can only hope I will enjoy her debut album as much as I enjoy her set in this video.

3 song set includes: So What by Pink. Cry Baby. Barracuda.

I was listening to the audio commentary tonight by Ridley Scott Alien first edition and he made reference to Tomtia has used on the set for Alien (1979) so I did a bit of hard searching around and bingo. This is sounds interesting and moody I like it already! It’s a different Planets to the one I’m used to listening to CD.

I wonder what Gustav Holst would think about this would he re-write Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity

Jupiter sounds (so strange!) NASA-Voyager recording
