You get on the phone with Harman Parts, and give them the specific part number Giskard provided for you.

    What happens?

    Woofer Ordering?

Interesting. I'll give it a shot. I thought the days of phone ordering were a thing of he past. Thank you. Now I need to go back and find the number.
Giskard can you please post that again for me?
I did not think the number was relevant since I did not get any + answers via the net.

    Part Number

Not when I was told it was no longer ava. What is a person supposed to think? Who is right and who is wrong. DO you have the number again for me.

    Part Number

I can't find that thread you gave me with the current/correct part number for the LE-14H-1 woofer. Can you give it to me again please?

    You have angered the G-man
... no doubt, by now the post you wish has gone away
    - edited or deleted by vengeful spirits
... there is no part number - it was merely a trick of your mind
    all is maya ... illusion.

This is not the thread you wish ... go now, young skywalker ... far far away.

Well, then, maybe you could explain to ME exactly what it is he did to anger the G-Man?

THIS is an open forum, where you can ask questions, or share your experience and expertise.

    Marone `A` Mi,
I have no idea - apparently I logged in and came on in the middle of it.
I do I know I have seen this kind of thing before where Giskard flames out on some one
and the posts change time and time again as he crafts his precise reply to get just the right phrasing.
Often whole posts drop out as he changes his intent and suddenly other posts from earlier in the day change or go away completely.
Who knows what angered him so - probably just another sock puppet tryin' to light him up, perhaps?

The signal-to-noise in this joint sure take a dive now and then

    LE14H-1

Puzzzzzzzzling. Just looking for a part number that does not exist according to JBL. But the G-man says it does. Just trying to get a project completed. So I can have happy 250TI's to sell and or listen toooooooooooo.
I went where I was told many times and they (JBL) still say not ava. Confused, yes.

What the H#$% is a sock puppet??? Real nice. I'm trying to get answers on different subjects and find parts, and help people if I can, with things I've done on this re-build. The big issue is, the above person keeps telling me that that part is still ava, and I keep getting a no from JBL/Harman Parts. ????? Thank you for the abuse. I'm not trying to light anyone up, just seeking products, and help to fix speakers.

Sock Puppet - look it up - really - its the same as web dopplegangers - c'mon are you that new to this intraweb thingee?

Anyway - I was just trying to warn you - Giskard flames on sometimes and deletes his posts - I've seen entire threads drained of all the posts he made in a conversation. Really ticks you off when you are trying to research something and he drains all the knowledge out and goes off to play elsewhere. Not real sportin' I'd say ... What ticks him off ? I dunno - just treat him nice and he'll relax again ... he really is a knowledgable dude - but some of the conversations here make him a bit awkward to deal with sometimes.
