    Thanks Grumpy!!! more confusing info , free air I would think would be even more pronounced. I have a second 2245 which came w/the unit but i need to refoam it. It looks like now will be a good time after all. And then test again

    Ball park price to recone a 2245 ???

    I guess I was not surprised. There's no mass of air behind a restricted port to slow it down in free space (just a mass of air and a very unrestricted port ).

    mid-$200's seems normal for a recone.
