The sonicaps that I put in my klipsch heresys combined with my zilch miracle cable and a solid state amp = super clarity. i dont think its bright or edgy, just hella white-- like turn up the brightness on your tv.

I am going to stick with the solens in the crossover that paul just built for me. besides the fact that his skill is amazing and the crossovers are just gorgeous... i think they sound quite correct and natural. Also so thankful that i have beefy hookup wire throughout my xovers as well as new l-pads

somehow, and weve had this discussion, i cant justify the cost... the values are really really high, and the cost would be stupid high. c'mon.. really really f-ing high. Cant even find matching values half the time. I would have to mix n match the claritycaps anyway. I looked into it, based on your advice. paul told me to take my 2 cents and put them back in my pocket.

the important thing is that aged crossovers were brought back to life, and values will be accurate for a long long time . I think its a happy ending. I can be at peace not spending 500+ bucks on crossover caps.

I dont mind splurging a couple of bucks on low value coupling caps in a tube amp... but thankfuly i dont need to worry about that anymore .

I loved the silky liquidity of my 45 set amp with jensen PIO and 1978 klipsch cornwalls with matching Jensen PIO caps. was tres cool.. but no way that i can afford that synergy now with my new setup.

Personally I prefer caps and resistors to have de-oxygenated copper leads this fits in wonderfully with my gold plated binding posts and my chrome plated greese nipples.
