    Questions I should probably know

I'd probably know this if I hadn't played rip van winkle or something bu I don't.
It used to be that except for the transmission line crowd, and they usually didn't use glass anyway, the practice was to cover one wall of any two opposing walls to kill standing waves. Today this is not exactly the practice. Does anybody know off the top of their head when and why this changed?

I have never seen a JBL driver used in a transmission line. It would seam, if you were into such things, that JBL has at least a couple of drivers that might be well suited. Is it just because the transmission line bunch were usually sworn JBL haters, or is there more to it?

If you are going to use a cap in series with your HF reproducer for safety when using an electronic crossover, is there a formula to come up with something that won't significantly effect the sound and will offer protection? Or do you get one or the other.

Please, I'm not asking anybody to do research for me. If you know or if you know a link it will be appreciated.

Discussions of protection caps and how to calculate them are in the JBL 5234 and 5235 active crossover manuals.
