    Question JBL C40

I am new to this forum and just like that,I have a chance to buy some C40'S.The fellow I am thinking of buying them from wants my Klipsch Fortes,Bose 901 Series 6 and 1500.00 cash to boot. They are pretty much mint condition.I have tried to find info and value of these speakers ,but can find out very little.I am curious as to what drivers tweeters crossovers etc. to look for.Am I paying too much.will try and post pics.

It'd be easier to tell us what is in the boxes.

It sounds like a lot of value to trade for some C40's.

C40 is a particular cabinet. Dearly loved by some, not considered very useful by others as it's a folded horn which brings out the best of some drivers and is not applicable to others. C40 tells almost nothing about what speakers are inside.

I just picked up a C40, so I'll tag onto this thread with apologies. I have a 16 ohm D130 woofer, and I'm looking for a 175DLH tweet and an N1200 crossover. What kind of $$$ should I expect to drop, and is Jammin Jersey a good source?

    Thanks!

Sheltidave...Remember you can get the potato masher 1217-1290 sepratly and put 2425 0r 2426 drivers on them. Ive delt with jamminjersey. No problems, But they dont take credit cards, checks are ok. Maron

Jammin Jersey IMO is way overpriced and over the years on this forum members have posted they get goofy when things go wrong.
My own experiance with them is you have to speak to them over the phone even though they have a web site, and when you ask for pictures they ask "What For"
