    Current collection.

    Eric Clapton - Crossroads tour.
    David Gilmour
    Pink Floyd: Pulse
    Fleetwood Mac - The Dance
    The Doors
    Live Aid
    Led Zepellin

I enjoy the classic bands, especially Floyd. This concert DVD is amazing. Anyone else have it? I crank up my Altecs and I feel as though I could be sitting right in the middle of it.

I also enjoy the Fleetwood Mac DVD. I crank up song 19 and 20 - USC marching band.

Can't forget about Led - that was one is especially good, too! Awesome footage and incredible DVD!

Live Aid - I put that one on on Saturdays and crank it up when I clean the house.

I can't wait to hear some new ones on this thread. Come on people, dont just read...post your favorite music DVD!

OMG !!! At the risk of rupturing the space/time continuum , thusly shutting down the forum and our sound systems, I reluctantly must admit that " I agree with storm on some things" .

There , I said it !!! Are your speakers still playing ?

Zepp was super in almost everything they did (the BBC version of "Dazed & Confused" where they played the electric guitar with a bow ...WOW
Doors - unique ( saw them in '68) still relevant
PF - unique too ......although I doubt if storm has hear PF's most unique cut "Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together in a Cave and Grooving With a Pict"

Just don't overlook CCR , Santana and Steely Dan.

    No Worries, Seawolf.

I know I am young, but my dad taught me well.

I love Classic Rock and hate mainstream.

No, I can say I have never heard that PF song.

I enjoy every kind of music except, classical - some jazz - christian - rap - hip hop. But, I do enjoy the old skool r & b.

My mom introduced me to Fleetwood Mac - one of only a few bands she showed me.

Waiting patiently for Genesis to come to the US. They are currently on tour and can't wait - well, I can...saving my pennies - for them to arrive!

Seawolf - please dont think I hate you, because I dont. Just as the political threads, we all have a different view about life. Nothing wrong with that, only makes this forum that much enjoyable to read every day - every 15 minues, .

I hope you and everyone else on this forum has a safe and happy new years.

LETS CRANK THOSE JBL AND ALTEC SPEAKERS AND SHOW OUR NEIGHBORS WHAT THEY ARE REALLY MISSING!

Wonder what it would be like if we all turned our speakers up loud at the exact same moment. Would anyone hear it? LOL.

Do we have an "Pict" members ?????

    From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together in a Cave and Grooving With a Pict"
is a track written and performed by Roger Waters from the two-part 1969 Pink Floyd album, Ummagumma.
The track consists of several minutes of noises resembling rodents and birds simulated by Roger Waters' voice played at different speeds, as well as stringed instruments — followed by Waters providing a few stanzas of quasi-lyrics in a thick Scottish accent. Some reports state that sometime Floyd collaborator Ron Geesin actually provided the 'ranting pict' section.
The Picts were the indigenous people of what is now Scotland, before they were made virtually extinct by Irish and Viking invaders.
There is a "hidden message" in the song at approximately 4:22. If played at a slower speed, Waters [1][2] or guitarist David Gilmour[3] can be heard to say, "That was pretty avant-garde, wasn't it?". It is thought by some that the high-pitched squeaking which is repeated every couple of seconds from about 1:30 to about 2:10 is Waters saying, "Bring back my guitar" sped up by a factor of 10. However, this is not true, although it is phonetically similar

    Quotes
It's not actually anything, it's a bit of concrete poetry. Those were sounds that I made, the voice and the hand slapping were all human generated - no musical instruments.
