    HEY! That's a 208 power amp!

Could you take a picture from the top, and one from the bottom with the cover removed? Got one here, that somebody seems to have hacked up. Can't tell where some of the wiring is supposed to be going! The thing actually WORKS, but I'm really dubious that it's SUPPOSED to be wired the way it is!!

    Thanks!!!

    Regards,
    Gordon.

    Why, Yes it is!

Are these something special? I am off to work now but will take the snaps on Wednesday or Thursday and post. Any info on this rig would be great. The thing sounds WONDERFUL thru the 4311's.

Those 208s seem to have lots of cahunas! Nice iron, fairly high rail voltage (like 525V, IIRC!).

Though, I'm afraid to play the one here, for more than a few minutes at the time, until I figure out whether stuff in the power supply- specifically, the bias circuit- is jury-rigged as bad as it looks like it might be! Possibly "red-plate"-ing output tubes BAD! VERY bad! Especially when they're OEM 7591s that test PERFECT on the Mighty-Mite!

    Regards,
    Gordon.
