    Hi Vito - good morning!

The JBL 4320 came stock with:

Lo Freq - 2215 (Pro version of LE15)
Mid Freq - 2420 (Pro version of LE85)
    Crossover 3110
    Horn 2307 (short horn)
    Lens 2308
And was last made in 1974

Some folks might add a bullet tweeter (075s/2402s - home version/pro version but same driver) - I added a slot tweeter (077s/2405s - home version/pro version - very similar driver) a bit newer tweeter, to mine.

The original upgrade concept for those speakers was to take the high frequency output of your original #3110 crossover and feed that to a "high-split" network that would give you a hi-mid output for the horn driver and a very high freq for ther tweeter. They usually used a 3106 crossover for this "high split" technique -
(see this thread for more details) - (also see this thread).

I figured the old capacitors in my original 3110 networks could use updating, so I just built new crossover networks based on an updated design Giskard posted to the forums here.

It all depends on how geeky you want to be, and what you want to do with them! Good luck!

Vito, greetings to italy, I suppose those aren't too common there - congratulations. I've always liked that cabinet style, Heather's came out very nice too. It's been mentioned here several times those deep enclosure types do sound less like a 'box', its an advantage by design. Hope some more xover xperts will chime in here soon. Good luck.

    Tom here

    I heard someone calling!

HJAMES has correctly posted the 4320 stock info.
When I added 2405 slots to my 4320s I bought a pair of 3106 crossovers. They cross at 8K. If you want to use the 2402 bullets, I think the 3105 is the correct crossover. Can someone conform this for me?
The 2402 will work fine, but you'll get more high end extension with the 2405. The 2420 compression driver can certainly go up to the 8K of the 3106.
    Hope this helps.

The difference is the mid driver, not the UHF....

Yes, I think you could switch out the 2402 bullets for the 2405 slots and adjust the L Pads to fine tune levels.
