But the reason for the high valuation lies in the mythical 90-degree rotation to the 077's. Not many even know about that option...

    Doh! "075" was pre-coffee...

Yeah--the 077's. The close-up photos were a mistake. They reveal considerable clumsy wrenching around.

He decreased the BIN from 1900.00. Still high but not as outrageous as 1900.00

I see the selling price on both the Minigons and Paragons creeping up a bit.I have a Metregon that I will soon list for sale.We shall see how that does.

Minigon went for $2,750. Not surprised. It the cleanest stereo set that has shown up on Ebay.

The Metregon currently on Ebay has been listed multiple times without a bite. The ask price is high, IMHO, with an S72 system.

    Hi Guys,

I'm confused now. Has the seller of the L65s changed the pics? The aspect of the 077s looks fine to me, & they show no sign of being butchered either. I have a cracked "crystal" phase plug on one of mine which makes it look a lot messier than his.

    Regards,
    Phil

    Hey, Phil...

Yup - the pictures are different. The 075's are now rotated into factory orientation (that is, for using the cabinets in the position shown, verus horizontal). Makes one suspicious that ALL the JBL-eBay'ers watch our very public critiquing of their auctions.

And, it wasn't them 075's that was "butchered", it was the bit sloppy glue-job on the RH woofer dust cap, which remains as-was.

    Hi Bo,

That's a relief, I thought I must be missing the obvious.

I'm sure there's an awful lot more people lurk here than post; I've only just started posting but have been lurking & learning at the various iterations of the forum for the last couple of years. It's a bit hard to get involved when there's such a comprehensive knowledge base.

What is more sinister is these guys who hijack an ebay monicker & sell non existent items that were discussed here only a day or so before.

    Regards,
    Phil

Yup, people come and go so quickly here... (Dorothy to the Munchkins...)

And please don't let that get in your way. Why, pretty soon, you'll find yourself waxing-on philosophically about the L's...

And that is why we love JBL Dog! He watches out for everybody... Get, 'em, Dog!!

You'll know you've been here too long when you start missing them smilies and html text enhancers in emails and the like...
