    Unless my eyes deceive me, the bent section signifigantly reduces in ID as it nears the throat, so no gain in effective length.....what's the point???:dont-know

    Well, if used with a big horn-loaded LF system, the drivers are more likely to be in the same theoretical plane... But I agree - I don't see exactly what the extra length is for, since it doesn't really appear to expand much.
