    LSR4326 + LSR4312

    Hi.

Im considering the mentioned system for use in my relative small room. Does anyone have any experience with this setup. Im considering buying one sub now, and add another one later when i can afford it.

Have anyone compared it with the passive LSR-6332, wich is my other alternative. If i go passive ill use my Crown XTI-1000 to power them.

    Best regards Tim

    Hei.

Its actually based on that thread i have decided to try theese

What i wonder about is if the Active 43's could be a better alternative since i dont have that kind of amp.

    Best regards

    Hey Tim.

You donīt need a Crown studio ref amp to feed them but i think it will be good if you do it.
I have Crown k2 to my system, they are cheaper.
I would take the passiv speaker and try some diffrent ampīs to se whatīs your favorite.

Hm....i have to consider it a bit...i lean towards the Active solution because of ease of use, and the built inn EQ. Ill get back with what i decide on.

Ill post a listening impression when i have had a chance to try them for a few days. I have heard the K2 S9800 in a good setting so i have a good reference to what high-end JBL can do

    Thanks for your replies.

    Best regards

    Finally!

    Hey!

At last i have a pair for LSR4328 and a LSR4312 up and running. The first impression is quite good. The sound is clear and dynamic (not K2 level though) And has a good punch. It is clear that a break in period is needed, but so far i think it sounds ok. Considering the modest price.

The most positive thing is that the treble isnt laidback. I was afraid that this might be the case since it is a soft dome, and not Ti. But for a Soft dome it has good punch and a crispy sound.

    Best regards Tim

    Cool cool

Way to go, Tim. I love seeing guys put money into today's excellent JBL products, available at reasonable price points.

Not only do the speakers need a bit of a break in (from .01 seconds to maybe a couple of days), but more importantly you need to be broken in. Once your ears are retuned, you'll be in a whole new world.

Best to you and can't wait for an update.
